Melina Sosa is a 33-year-old photographer originally from Patagonia Argentina, graduated in 2013 as a Professional Photographer from the Andy Goldstein School of Creative Photography.

His work focuses on Photographic Retouching and Digital Postproduction.

​

Throughout his career, he trained in studio lighting, advanced Photoshop courses, sculpture, drawing, color, contemporary art, art history and visual language, among other training that enriched his vision, always seeking to perfect his technique. and stay up to date with the latest tools and technologies.

​

In 2014 he opened his PIGMMENTO Photography Studio in Rada Tilly, where he offered photographic productions and digital retouching and post-production services. There he had the opportunity to acquire knowledge in commercial photography, set assembly, retouching and lighting. He worked making productions with different clothing brands and magazines in the area, personalized photo sessions, mostly for visual artists, writers and musicians who were looking for a creative perspective to disseminate their productions.

In 2016 he participated for the first time in a collective photography exhibition, with a series of photographs selected from his photographic archive that he titled "Atmosphere", with which he participated repeatedly on different occasions.

In 2017 he held an individual exhibition of the photographic series "Hidden Dimensions", product of his thesis in his photography degree.

In 2019 he inaugurated the photographic installation "When I say weOTHERS".

His artistic work focuses on exploring the emotions and sensations that happen in people's lives. Although it always starts from the same search, each work is distinguished by a unique and particular approach.

In addition to her work as a photographer, she had the privilege of being part of the Culture Secretariat of the Rada Tilly City Council for 9 years. During that time, he carried out various enriching tasks, among which the photographic record of works on display and the contribution to the photographic restoration of the City's Historical Photographic Archive stand out.

​

With more than ten years of experience in photographic imaging, at the beginning of 2023 she decided to start a Master's Degree in Photographic Retouching and Digital Postproduction in Spain to specialize in the area and take a leap in her profession, dedicating herself completely as a Retoucher.
